RAM Rating Services Berhad is currently on the lookout for a full time SUB-EDITOR.

Reporting to the Group Editor, the sub-editor will edit copy to improve the readability of RAM’s publications and communication materials. The candidate will also need to be vigilant in detecting and correcting errors in grammar, spelling and punctuation while ensuring language consistency in all of RAM’s publications and media releases before they are publicly disseminated.

The person we are looking for must have:

• An excellent command of the English language, together with a keen eye for detail.
• The capacity to multi-task and meet tight deadlines, along with a sense of urgency and superior organisational skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure, and the aptitude to perform as a team member as well as on an independent basis.
• A related degree and experience in writing/editing financial/business reports are preferable, though not absolutely necessary.
• Be computer and Internet literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word. Working knowledge of Power Point would be an advantage.
