Ms Margie Sham Kaur is a firm believer in the power of people and knowledge. An award-winning sales and business development professional and creative writer, she has trained people from all walks of life during her years in the hospitality industry and corporate arena.

Currently a Senior Partner at Marcus Gomez and Partners, a pioneer writing consultancy, she is the founder of its training division – Peoplepassion Training Services. As a soft skills trainer and a personal motivator, Ms Kaur is a powerhouse of positive energy and is best known for her ability to coach, persuade and motivate. She is an out-of-the-box and highly animated trainer who reaches her audience via compelling real life story telling and thought provoking discussions. She also believes in the concept of love and spirituality at the workplace and of treating people as whole persons.

Ms Kaur is the Vice President of Education for Extol Toastmasters Subang Jaya. A natural at public speaking, she is well known for her oratory skills. In her leisure, she writes stories for children and contributes to charitable courses. She is also working on her first novel.

Once a corporate success and now an independent knowledge worker Ms Kaur has over 20 years experience in the fields of hospitality, transportation, journalism and entrepreneurship. Her work experience has taken her places – from being a flight attendant with Malaysia Airlines to a Regional Senior Manager in United Parcel Service (UPS). A true rank-and-file success story, she has a Diploma in General Management and is currently pursuing an Honours Degree in Psychology.
