Meor is the Chief Executive Officer of Bond Pricing Agency Malaysia Sdn Bhd (or BPA Malaysia), the country’s first bond pricing agency.

He has a Masters of Business Administration with specialisation in Finance from the International Islamic University, Malaysia. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Kent in Canterbury, United Kingdom.

Before BPA Malaysia, he was with RAM since 1994 and his last posting was Head of Financial Institutions Ratings division. He was also a regulator, working for Bank Negara Malaysia under the Actuarial Unit of the Insurance Regulation Department for two years.

Meor has conducted numerous training programmes and has written a number of papers on credit risk, Islamic finance, sukuk structures as well as bond mathematics.
