Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), from the University of Natal and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management. He has worked as a construction engineer and as a project management consultant in South Africa and Australia prior to completing an MBA and working in a variety of senior roles in the banking and finance industry over the past 20 years.

Michael has worked with many of the large Australian investment banks including Macquarie Bank, AIDC Limited and Babcock & Brown as well as in a consulting capacity for multilateral agencies such as the Asian Development Bank as financial modelling specialist. Michael has a unique combination of detailed financial modelling experience as well as high level financial advisory experience across a broad range of transactions and sectors in infrastructure and project finance.
