JACCOB THOMAS

Jaccob Thomas graduated with a B. Economics (Hons), University of Malaya and subsequently obtained his M.Sc. in Management Studies from Durham University, United Kingdom. He also holds a Corporate Finance Qualification granted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Jaccob was with the Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad (“BBMB”) Group for over twenty years period where he gained wide ranging experience in both corporate finance and corporate banking. On February 1, 1995, Jaccob was designated as Head, Corporate Banking Division of BBMB.

Presently (since mid-1996) Jaccob is the Chief Executive Officer of MP Capital Advisory Sdn Bhd, a firm licensed by the Securities Commission to advise on Corporate Finance. Jaccob has been primarily responsible for putting in place credits of up to RM15.0 billion and is currently overseeing various assignments including financial advisory for power plants in Indonesia and Malaysia.

LIM CHIN WEE

Lim Chin Wee holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Business Administration (Finance) and Master’s Degree in Business Administration both from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, USA. He was with the BBMB Group for 7 years and his last position with the bank was as Department Head in Financial, Telecommunications and Transportation Sectors. During his tenure at MP Capital Advisory Sdn Bhd, he has successfully completed numerous onshore and offshore corporate loans as well as corporate debt restructuring exercises.

Chin Wee is a Certified Credit Professional (Business Credit) and also holds a Capital Markets and Services Representative’s licence issued by the Securities Commission.
