Andal Krishnan has a Master of Science in Training and Development from University of Leicester and a Postgraduate TESOL Diploma from Sheffi eld Hallam University. She is a member of the UK Society for copy editors and proof readers. Among the books she has edited are Marina Mahatir’s “50 days” and ‘Her Voice” (MPH).
Andal's work has taken her to Singapore, Dubai, and India. Her career as a trainer started in Singapore where she worked with the Adult Education Board. Subsequently, when she came to Malaysia, she set up Comprehensive Enrichment Centre specialising in communication courses and modules for Technical Writing, Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills at the Workplace. Her services are much sought after by master and PhD students for academic writing courses to prepare dissertations and theses in science and technology. She also coaches senior ranking officers, one – on – one, in writing of proposals and reports for Management Board and Stakeholders meetings Her expertise includes the ability to diagnose language needs and customise the modules.
Some of the clients she has worked with in the area of technical writing and public relations materials are Emirates Airlines, Murphy ( Oil and Gas) , Ranhill Worley , HIcom Yamaha , UMW , CIMB AVIVA, Tun Hussien Onn National Eye Hospital and Incorporated Society of Planters.
Andal is an accredited City & Guilds assessor for the Access Certificate in English (ACE) Teacher Training programme and Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) a personality profi ling tool. She is also a practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming.
