RAM Ratings has received confirmation that Al-‘Aqar Capital Sdn Bhd fully redeemed its RM575 million Issue 2 Sukuk Ijarah under the RM1 billion IMTN Programme, on the expected maturity date of 4 May 2021. As such, we have withdrawn the respective AAA/Stable and AA2/Stable ratings of the RM295 mil Class A and RM60 mil Class B Issue 2 Sukuk Ijarah and no longer have any rating obligation with respect to the facility. The RM220 mil Class C notes are unrated.
Al-‘Aqar Capital is a wholly owned funding conduit of Al-‘Aqar Healthcare REIT, specifically incorporated to raise funds by issuing Islamic securities via commercial real estate-backed transactions.
