RAM Ratings wins GIFA Power Award at the Global Islamic Finance Awards 2021

RAM Ratings has received the GIFA Power Award (Islamic Rating) at the Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) 2021 held on 14th September 2021. This marks the first nomination and win for RAM Ratings in this category.
The GIFA Power Award (Islamic Rating) 2021 recognises the very best in Islamic Rating services, as well as the exceptional and innovative work being done by the private sector in sukuk and Islamic finance. This is the second time RAM has won a GIFA award. It previously bagged the Best Islamic Rating Agency award in 2012.

The GIFA is one of most prestigious Islamic finance awards in the world. Founded in 2011 by Edbiz Corporation as part of its advocacy for the nascent Islamic banking and finance industry. GIFA has awarded top accolades to private institutions in Islamic banking, finance and rating agencies, as well as heads of states or governments for their leadership and advocacy roles in promoting Islamic banking and finance in their respective jurisdictions or globally. Past winners include S&P Global Ratings and Moody’s.
