RAM Ratings wins GIFA Power Award 2022 for Islamic Ratings

RAM Rating Services Berhad (RAM Ratings) is pleased to announce it has received the GIFA Power Award (Islamic Rating) at the Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) 2022. This is the second consecutive win for RAM Ratings, as it took home the award in the same category last year.

The 12th GIFA Awards Ceremony was held on 14th September 2022 at Djibouti Palace Kempinski in the Republic of Djibouti. GIFA celebrates excellence in the field of Islamic Rating services, and commemorates the outstanding achievements of the movers and shakers in the Islamic finance industry.

The GIFA, one of most prestigious Islamic finance awards in the world, was founded in 2011 by London-headquartered think tank Edbiz International Advisors as part of its advocacy for the Islamic banking and finance sector. The GIFA has awarded top accolades to private institutions in Islamic banking, finance and rating agencies, as well as heads of states or governments for their leadership and advocacy roles in promoting Islamic banking and finance in their respective jurisdictions or globally.
