RAM Ratings has received confirmation that Maybank Islamic Berhad terminated its RM10 billion Islamic Commercial Paper (ICP)/Medium-Term Note (IMTN) Programme (2017/2024) on 18 July 2023. As such, we have withdrawn the respective P1 and AAA/Stable ratings of the programme and no longer have any rating obligation in respect of the facility. The said programme has been superseded by the bank’s RM20 billion ICP (2023/2030) and RM20 billion IMTN (2022/-) programmes.
RAM will maintain surveillance of Maybank Islamic’s AAA/Stable/P1 financial institution ratings and the ratings of its other sukuk programmes as follows:
