RAM Ratings withdraws rating of Batu Kawan’s RM500 mil IMTN Programme after full redemption

RAM Ratings has withdrawn the AA1/Stable rating of Batu Kawan Berhad’s (or the Group) RM500.0 mil Islamic Medium-Term Notes (IMTN) Programme (2013/2023) and no longer has any rating obligation in respect of the facility. The outstanding amount under the programme was fully redeemed on 6 June 2023 upon maturity. 

We will, however, maintain surveillance of the Group’s RM1.0 bil IMTN Programme (2022/2043).
