RAM Ratings’ Analytics division today launched the latest version of its MFRS 9 SaaS, an online solution for estimating expected credit loss (ECL) for fixed income instruments, as required by the Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS 9).

The latest version contains several enhancements which include a new user interface, improved functionalities, and new modules on risk assessments for subscribers. The new modules include a scenario builder that supports stress testing for climate risks. It joins a suite of four other ECL scenario analysers already available. For a limited period, subscribers will also have access to RAM Analytics’ flagship, RAM CreditSCAN, an online risk model.

RAM MFRS 9 SaaS has been operational since 2018, supporting the measurement and reporting needs of financial institutions and asset managers, amongst others. Visit https://analytics.ram.com.my for more information.
