Update on the rating of City Coin Technology Berhad’s investment notes

Following the completion of a corporate reorganisation in September 2025, key operating subsidiaries, including City Coin Technology Berhad (CCTech), are now held under City Coin Group Sdn Bhd (CCG or the Group) as the holding company.

Separately, CCG issued RM30 mil of redeemable convertible preference shares (RCPS) to Endau Capital Sdn Bhd in August 2025. The RCPS carry a fixed dividend and can be redeemed in cash or converted into ordinary shares of CCG.

These developments do not affect CCTech’s investment notes rating of R4, which indicates adequate safety for the payment of financial obligations.

RAM Ratings has also assigned a rating of R4 to CCTech’s RM5 Million Tranche 4 Investment Notes.
