RAM Ratings wins FocusEconomics Awards for third straight year

RAM Rating Services Berhad (RAM Ratings) has again earned podium recognition at the FocusEconomics Best Economic Forecaster Awards – Big Economies 2026, extending its streak to three consecutive years among the world’s top-ranked forecasting institutions.

In 2026, RAM Ratings was recognised for two Malaysian indicators. Economists Woon Khai Jhek and Nadia Mazlan won first place for Malaysia’s fiscal balance forecasts, while Woon placed second for Malaysia’s unemployment rate forecasts.

The FocusEconomics Analyst Forecast Awards recognise the most accurate forecasts submitted by institutions worldwide across six key indicators in more than 100 countries. FocusEconomics is a global aggregator of economic forecasts and analysis, surveying hundreds of economists each month and serving financial institutions, multinational companies and government agencies for over two decades.
