RAM Sustainability Awarded the JC3 Leaders in Climate Action Award 2026

RAM Sustainability Sdn Bhd was awarded the JC3 Leaders in Climate Action Award 2026 (Organisation Category) by the Joint Committee on Climate Change (JC3), in recognition of its contribution in driving meaningful climate action in Malaysia under the JC3 initiatives. The award was presented at the JC3 Journey to Zero Conference 2026 on 30 September 2026, jointly organised by Bank Negara Malaysia and the Securities Commission Malaysia.

The recognition reflects RAM Sustainability's ongoing continuous efforts to support the development of climate and sustainability-related market infrastructure, capacity building and practical solutions that facilitate the mobilisation of sustainable finance, particularly in the debt markets.

A notable contribution was RAM Sustainability's support for JC3’s development of the Application Handbook for Issuances of Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI)-Linked Sukuk and Sustainability-Linked Bonds for the Malaysian Capital Market. The Handbook provides practical guidance to issuers and advisers on structuring and issuing credible sustainability-linked fixed income instruments, helping to strengthen market readiness and broaden participation in sustainable finance.

RAM Sustainability also supported outreach and engagement initiatives to raise awareness and encourage adoption of sustainability-linked financing instruments among market participants.

The recognition was announced during the JC3 Journey to Zero Conference 2026, which brought together more than 800 participants from the financial sector, government, businesses, investors and academia to discuss climate and nature resilience, sustainable growth and financing solutions for the real economy.
