RAM Announces Group CEO Retirement and Leadership Succession

RAM Holdings Berhad (“RAM Holdings” or “the Group”) announced the retirement of Chris W.K. Lee as Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of RAM Holdings and RAM Rating Services Berhad (“RAM Ratings”), effective 30 September 2026, following a distinguished 34-year career with the Group.

As part of the Group’s leadership succession, the Board appointed Julie Ng as Acting Group Chief Executive Officer of RAM Holdings, effective 1 October 2026, and Executive Director of RAM Ratings, effective 12 October 2026.

Julie will continue as CEO of RAM Ratings, a position she has held since April 2024, while serving as Acting Group CEO. Her appointment supports an orderly leadership transition and continuity in formulating and executing the Group’s strategy as the Board considers its leadership arrangements. An industry veteran with more than 32 years of industry experience, Julie has spearheaded numerous strategic initiatives in the Group with extensive coverage in credit ratings, credit risk management, financial services consultancy, data analytics and research.
